Join us for the PLAAY “Now-A-Thon” 06.09.23

We're looking forward to Friday's PLAAY "NOW-a-Thon," where we continue our celebration of the "Summer of NOW" by PLAAY-ing all eleven PLAAY NOW games! As we were planning this stream, we got it in our heads to pull out all the stops and make this a full-blown online "event!" SO here's the NEW, expanded plan...

• New start time: starts at 2pm MDT, 4pm EDT. Will run approximately three hours.

• Combination Game Lab and Game Demo: We're going to combine the Game Lab (previously scheduled for next week) and Now-A-Thon streams into one stream, a mix of demos of the current PLAAY NOW line-up and in-development games.

• "Lightning Round" format: Just like in past Game Lab streams, ten minutes per game, by the clock. When ten minutes are up, we move to the next game. For the current line-up of games, given that we have archived demos of each already on the channel, we'll use the ten minutes for NEW content about the games. We'll wing this, but basically we'll show the game contents, talk about the game's origins and development, and its future plans. For the in-development games, we'll give a ten-minute overview and a sample play sequence, where appropriate.

• Games have scheduled time slots: For past "Lightning Round" segments, the order of game presentation has been via a random draw. But for this extended stream, we'll have a schedule. We'll try to stick with it as closely as possible (but please bear with us if we run a little ahead or behind)...
