MONDAY: Truckin' '76 Un-Boxing!
At long last, we're ready to put the pedal to the metal! Join us Monday night as we give you a first look at our soon-to-be-released 1970s-themed truckin' game, "Truckin' '76!" Inspired by the movie "Smokey and the Bandit," this game is colorful, fast and fun! We'll re-cap the Iowa 80 weekend, un-box the game contents and take the game for a test drive. Then we'll turn the keys over to YOU! Monday night, special time: 5pm MDT (7pm EDT) on the PLAAY Games YouTube channel!
Road Trip to Iowa THIS WEEKEND!
We're headed to the midwest for our dual-purpose on-location event in Iowa! Saturday afternoon, we'll get Truckin' '76 on the table at the World's Largest Truck Stop, the Iowa 80 Truck Stop in Walcott, IA. Then, that night, we'll conclude our 2025 Fall Classic Pre-PLAAY, crowning our big league baseball champions a couple months before it happens in real-life.
Last night (THURS 09.11.25) we pared down the playoff field: Our "Final Four" is Detroit vs. New York and San Diego vs. Milwaukee! We'll determine the champion Saturday night at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Davenport, IA. Free to attend and/or manage a team for a game, no RSVP needed!

PLAAY Games in Dallas at BGG Con!
We're gearing up for our visit to "Big D" and the annual Board Game Geek convention! We'll be there Thursday 11.13 through Sunday 11.16, we'll know our booth location next week. We're excited to connect with a LARGE group (+3000) of board game fans, both within and outside the PLAAY Games universe!

Photo Finish
Two photos this month. At left, Andy Lewis shared this great picture from the Fury Hardball tournament at this summer’s World Boardgame Championships at the Seven Springs Resort outside Pittsburgh, PA. “It was a match-up of my ‘sons.’ Andy’s actual son Danny won the championship series in a 3-0 sweep. The other participant is Josh Githens—someone had asked Andy and his wife if he (Josh) was their son. It became a “thing” during the convention that Josh was Andys son. There were fourteen participants in the tournament, which offered a choice of teams from both the 2025 Big League Fury (real life players) and Fury League (expansions ONE and TWO) card sets. Andy says, “There was a lot of fun with the LOOK and STEAL cards!”
At right, Joe Cards has been enjoying our Sci-Fi “Invasion of the Body-Snatchers” board game “First Contact: YOUR Town,” which he tried out at the recent Canton, OH get-together. Joe sent this photo of his starting set-up—he’s starting as The Banker (good ratings in both strength and credibility!) , which gives him a leg-up on saving the planet!
