A scenario straight from the pages of pro racing’s hall of fame, created by PLAAY Gamers Don Weed and Tim Lowery. This download lets you re-create the setting of Wendell Scott's historic 1964 season win (actual race date was December 1, 1963) at Jacksonville's Speedway Park. You get driver cards for each of the 22 participants, including two cards for Scott: one based on his season-long performance and a second one for his performance at the Jacksonville race. Also includes aa track card and liner notes.
This would be SO incredibly unsafe in today's stock car racing, but back in the day racing in convertibles was a thing (for a brief time)! Over 100 drivers included from co-creators Don Weed and Tim Lowery! Don writes, "The (NP) drivers were not in contention for the points title and the 'X' designation were the drivers that did not have a predominant car number. The season was kind of a wind-down from 1956. Fewer races and entries per race. The series disappeared entirely part way through 1958. Only a few of the drivers appeared to be serious by attending a majority of the races. Bob Welborn took the title again even though Curtis Turner had more wins."

Originally released in 2014, sort of a "what if stock car racing was an Olympic Sport" sort of thing. A number of PLAAY gamers have completed an eight-race tournament. 60 driver cards (each from a different country, including many real-life drivers), eight international tracks and an intro sheet.
