The year 2024 was a landmark year, highlighted by Scottie Scheffler's extraordinary performance. Scheffler dominated the season in a manner not seen since the heyday of Tiger Woods, winning nine titles including the Masters, the Players Championship, and his first Olympic gold medal in Paris.

Another standout aspect of the season was Xander Schauffele's breakthrough at the majors. After years of near misses, Schauffele finally clinched his first major title at the PGA Championship and followed it up with a win at the British Open, securing his place among golf's elite.

In addition to Scottie Scheffler's and Xander Schauffele's achievements, 2024 saw several other notable accomplishments. Bryson DeChambeau made a remarkable comeback to win his second U.S. Open title at Pinehurst No. 2, edging out Rory McIlroy in a thrilling finish. Ludvig Åberg emerged as a rising star, finishing second behind Scheffler at the Masters and ending the year ranked 5th in the world, and Nick Dunlap became the first player in history to win as both an amateur and professional in the same season.

Every golfer who had a top ten finish in 2024 is carded for this set, as are many who did not, almost 250 golfers in all, spread across both pro tours. Each golfer's card, from those at the top of the money list to those who often missed the cut, is studiously crafted to re-create his real-life golf game on your tabletop. Long-distance drivers like DeChambeau and Wyndham Clark will get that extra length from the tee, whereas guys like Russell Henley will sometimes frustrate you by coming up short, but whilst Henley will find the fairway on a regular basis, DeChambeau and Clark will often be gouging out from the rough. Scheffler and Åberg will dazzle you with their iron play, whilst the likes of Jason Day and Matt Fitzpatrick will be far less consistent. The top putters, such as Schauffele and Denny McCarthy, will get your adrenaline going as they excel with the flatstick, and whilst an icon golfer such as Rory McIlroy will often draw upon his experience to get out of a tight spot, there is always the chance that he will make the type of unexpected and costly error that will leave you shaking your head.
