TONIGHT: All Hallow's Eve with Steve!
AFR's Steve Tower joins us for our annual pre-Halloween stream! First, we'll introduce the new 2025 Wrestling America Federation card set, AND the new RIVAL federation, Excess Entertainment Productions (XSE). We'll start with our annual "Three for All Throw-Down," with Steve choosing four wrestlers from the WAF and Keith choosing four from XSE. Standard "Throwdown" rules.
THEN, it's the WAF's version of the "Royal Rumble," the first-annual "Hallo-WAF Trick Or Toss!" 31 wrestlers will enter the ring, but only ONE will be left standing at the end! WHO will it BE!?
After the stream, you can download the "Trick or Toss" rules and charts and have your OWN "Trick or Toss" event. “Happy Hallo-WAF'n WEEN!"

• Friday, 11.01.24, All-Saints Day, Revisited: November 1, 2014, I made the trip to St. Paul, MN for an all-day, on-location PLAAY Games event featuring "Saints" teams from every sport. Now, exactly a DECADE later, we'll reprise the event in the PLAAY Space. Saints hockey, soccer, and football! In the spirit of the holiday, we'll also remember a dozen or so PLAAY gamers who are no longer with us and stream the show in their honor.
• Thursday,11.07.24, 2025 Pro World Golf Kickoff and Course Collection TWENTY-ONE Reveal: What!? There's a Course Collection TWENTY ONE on the way? Yes there is, our own "October Surprise!" We'll reveal the four NEW courses and then give you a tour of the new 2025 Pro World Golf cards.
• Thursday, 11.14.24, New 2024 Pro Season Cards for Let’s PLAAY Tennis: We’ll give you a walk-through of the two new pro stars card sets that’ll be available that day, the 2024 Mens and Womens Pro Stars. If there’s time, we’ll run a mini-tournament between the top stars!
• Thursday 11.21.24, Sports Game Antiquities, Cadaco All-American Football: We love going back to our sports game roots, and here’s a football game from the ‘70s that many of our crowd played as kids. Memorable for its “spinner” game engine, we’ll show you how it works, run a few sample plays, and have the community chat room chime in with YOUR thoughts and memories!
• Monday 11.25.24, PLAAY Games Holiday Sale PREVIEW: (Note the special Monday stream night!) We'll give you a sneak peek at some of the new items that'll be under the tree, and run down the sale guidelines. We'll also have a "first look" at PLAAY-Dot-CON 2025, with the first and lowest-priced tickets available during the holiday sale!

FUN in UTAH-ctober
We had an awesome time in Utah hanging out with old friends and making new ones during "UTAH-ctober" in Salt Lake City, October 11th and 12th. Friday evening San Diego won our "Fall Classic Pre-PLAAY" in dramatic fashion, defeating Kansas City with a game-seven, extra-inning, walk-off home run! Then Saturday, Boston defeated Edmonton in the title gamem of our Commissioner's Surprise Hockey Blast Tournament--the third time in ten years that the Bruins have won the cup! Other games were played as well, including a memorable 1974 World Football League game between the Hawaiians and the Southern California Sun. Despite over 700 yards of offense, the game was scoreless until the two-minute warning, thanks to numerous red zone penalties, turnovers and missed field goals. The Hawaiians strung together a couple of late big plays--a 43 yard pass to Tim Delaney followed by a 12-yard scoring run from Vin Clements to pull out a 7-0 victory.
That'll be our final on-location event of 2024, but we have more road trips planned for 2025! Stay tuned!
Coming Soon: 2025 Pro World Golf, Course Collection TWENTY-ONE!
Our fictional golf series has been re-branded to better convey its international flavor, but the 2025 Pro World Golf card set simply picks up where the 2023 Pro National Golf cards left off. Established PNG stars like Sucheng Tien, Trent McAdams, Rance Abberle and Dustin Emerick are back for another year on the tour, and are joined by a cadre of NEW international stars, spearheaded by Canadian sensation Chaplin Blanchet who's being heralded as the best rookie golfer in years.
Additionally, we're excited to announce a brand NEW Course Collection! Course Collection TWENTY-ONE has a definite ocean/beach vibe, which complements the global perspective of Pro World Golf!
BOTH the golfer and course card sets will be available 11.07.24. We'll reveal the new courses AND kick off the new Pro World Golf franchise in the 11.07.24 edition of the PLAAY Space, 6PM MT (8PM ET).

• 2024 Pro In-Season "Great Eight" for History Maker Baseball: Pre-PLAAY the real-life big league playoffs with this eight-team mini-set, 24 players per team (12 batters, 12 pitchers).
• David Gambrill's 2024 Pro In-Season for Cold Snap Canadian Pro Football Game: The playoff “pre-PLAAY” fun is expanded to include fans of “three down football,” with team sheet ratings for the Canadian pro league’s six playoff teams. Included introductory notes from David.
• Hallow-WAF "Trick or Toss" Event Generator: We’ll use this on tonight’s YouTube stream, it re-creates our own verison of the Royal Rumble. NOTE that we’ve minimized the instructions so that everything fits on ONE sheet, charts and rules. Be sure to watch tonight’s stream to see how everything works and to clear up any gray areas!

We're busy planning for our annual holiday sale, here's the basic run-down...

2025 PLAAY games Online Christmas Party
We've got this on the schedule for Thursday evening, 12.12.24, 6pm MT (8pm ET). Once again, the central focus will be on hanging out, enjoying community, playing some games and conducting our White Elephant Gift Exchange! Last year we streamed from our living room with special guests, wearing classic Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Super fun!
If you'd like to be part of the White Elephant Gift Exchange, it's EASY: just find a "white elephant gift" from your game shelf and mail it to us here at PLAAY HQ in suburban Denver. (Please do NOT send new, store-bought items!) We suggest keeping the weight under a pound shipping weight, but it's not 100% necessary to do so. We'll announce names in reverse order of when gifts were received. That is, the SOONER you send your gift, the LATER you will choose in the exchange. This is important because of the exchange's "theft option." When we call your name, you can either "steal" a gift that's already been opened, OR choose an un-opened gift from under the tree.
• Please mail your exchange gift no later than 12.01.24 so that it has time to get here and we have time to wrap it! THANKS!
